- You must hold a current Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment to be eligible. This must be approved at least 4 weeks prior to camp.

Camp Arrival / Departure times for Rovers / Olaves / Leaders
Arrival – Over 15-year old’s (Venturers, Ranger Guides, Rovers & Leaders) – 8:00am – Saturday 14 September
Departure – Over 18-year old’s (Rovers & Leaders) – 12pm Friday 20 September
All campers aged 18 and over must be able to commit to the full week of camp. If you’re not able to commit you must email your request to Chief Director – Libby – (CLICK HERE) no later than 1 September 2023.
You will be asked to act as a leader in troop lines, run an activity base for campers, or work behind the scenes in services, Quarter Master, or Leader Catering.
In troop lines, you may be asked to help guests with toileting, personal hygiene, dressing, or eating.
Due to the limited number of positions available for Rovers, Olaves and Leaders, we are interested in your leadership skills and how we can make the best use of them to run this camp. Only suitable applicants who can give a full commitment of their time will be offered positions on camp. This will be at the discretion of the Agoonoree Executive Committee.
Adults who need to leave camp several times throughout may not be accepted on camp. Anyone who needs to leave the camp for any reason need to discuss this with Libby (Camp Chief).
Training Requirements
All adults attending Agoonoree will need to complete their Proficiency training (Scouting Essentials & Scouting Adventure) prior to the event. Rover Scouts who already have a Certificate of Proficiency (previously known as Certificate of Adult Leadership) or a Wood Badge will meet the minimum training requirement.
No exceptions will be allowed, apart from new Rover Scouts (in the section for less than 6 months) who must complete the Scouting Preliminary and Scouting Essentials On-Demand Training as a minimum requirement. Any further amendments to training requirements will be at the discretion of the Agoonoree Camp Chief.
Rovers / Leaders aged between 18 and 18.5 or been in the section for less than 6 months as at the start of camp are;
- Complete Mandatory On Demand Modules (WHS & Child Safety)
- Recommended completed Scouting Preliminary and Essentials On Demand Learning
Rovers / Leaders aged between 18.5 and 19 or been in the section for less than 12 months as at the start of camp are;
- Complete Mandatory On Demand Modules (WHS & Child Safety)
- Mandatory completion of Scouting Preliminary and Essentials On Demand Learning.
- Recommended completed Scouting Essentials course (either face to face or online)
Rovers / Leaders aged between 19 and above or been in the section for more than 12 months as at the start of camp are;
- Complete Mandatory On Demand Modules (WHS & Child Safety)
- Mandatory completion of Scouting Essentials training (On Demand & Course) and Scouting Adventure training (On Demand & Course).
- Holds a Certificate of Proficiency.
All Adults who are in roles of leadership will be required to complete Scouting Leadership, however, a Wood Badge is preferable. Some roles on camp require a Wood Badge and no exceptions can be made (e.g Rover Unit Leader).
