All campers are encouraged to participate in the day, night and free time activities run by qualified leaders from Scouting and Guiding.
These activities are designed to cater for our Scouts / Guides and Guests, developing creative, social, physical and self esteem skills while still maintaining Scouts and Guides interest. Activities during the week include abseiling, archery, camp cooking, water sports, campcraft, movie night, disco, crafts, sports and much more.
The camp always promotes fun, co-operation and friendship between all youths participating. Above all, the spirit of Agoonoree is to share the wonderful opportunities that Scouting and Guiding provides for all members.
Agoon FM (Radio Station)
Agoon FM is Agoonoree’s very own radio station located live onsite. Throughout free time and before parade each morning Agoon FM will entertain campers with Brisbane’s widest range of music. Agoon FM runs competitions and offers song request to all campers. Please note Agoon FM will only play suitable music and won’t play any music that is not suitable for mainstream broadcast.
Agoonoram
The Agoonoram is Agoonoree’s very own newspaper. The Agoonoree is the Venturer Scout-managed newspaper edited by Shaun, Amanda and Milton. The Agoonoram is delivered daily to Troop Lines and Leader Catering for all the camp to enjoy. The Agoonoram includes editorials, games and photos.
